With all those nasty web crawlers out there looking for e-mail addresses I see no reason to give them out for spamming purposes. Mailing Lists

Here are some ready-made mailing lists that you can use to get in touch with each other. Just send an e-mail to list-name@wspot.net, where list-name is one of the following:

uva: All of my old college buddies from the University of Virginia.
sun: Those of my friends who are Sun Microsystems employees.
scuba: Those of my friends who are scuba enthusiasts.
forumers: Those of my family and friends who have done the Landmark Forum.
humor: Those of my family and friends who enjoy sharing and receiving occasional pieces of humor in their in-boxes.

These mailing lists are maintained by the Majordomo mailing list system. That means that you can have complete control over what lists you are subscribed to, see who is on what mailing list, and see what mailing lists you are subscribed to.

Most importantly, if you find yourself on a mailing list you don't want to be on, send an e-mail to Majordomo@wspot.net with the lines

unsubscribe list-name end

in the body of the message (not in the subject of the message), where list-name is one of the lists above. Check the To: line of any unwanted e-mail to see which one applies.
